Kim Soo-Hyun’s Queen of Tears on Netflix Global Top 10 List For 13 Weeks

The beloved tvN K-drama Queen of Tears, starring Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won, came to its conclusion on April 28, 2024. However, even after more than a month of its conclusion, the series is still immensely popular and much talked-about among fans all around the globe. One of its production companies Studio Dragon has released an Instagram post about the drama on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

Per the Instagram post, Queen of Tears has been holding the 10th position on Netflix’s global TOP 10 non-English language series for a total of 13 consecutive weeks. It is an amazing milestone for the Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won starrer Korean drama.

Queen of Tears surpasses 600 million viewing hours, sets a new record

Since its premiere on tvN on March 9, 2024, Kim Soo-Hyun’s Queen of Tears has been breaking several viewership records and has gained massive popularity among audiences from all across the world. As mentioned earlier, it has set a brand-new record by holding the rank 10 on Netflix’s global Top 10 non-English language drama series for 13 straight weeks. It has also exceeded 600 million watching hours on the global streaming platform even more than a month after its ending.

Queen of Tears chronicles the fascinating love story between a married couple, Baek Hyun-Woo and Hong Hae-In, who come from two completely different backgrounds. The drama depicts their marriage’s hardships and challenges after a few years and how they overcome the crisis and fall in love with each other all over again. From arresting storyline to incredible cinematography to gripping acting performance by the cast, the drama has everything.

Apart from Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won, the cast of the K-dram also includes Park Sung-Hoon, Lee Joo-Bin, Kwak Dong-Yeon, Lee Mi-Sook, Kim Kap-Soo, Kim Jung-Nan, Jeon Bae-Soo and Hwang Young-Hee, among others.
