Big Bang Member Daesung Reveals ‘Falling Slowly’ Release Date & Time

BIGBANG member Daesung is reuniting two K-drama stars in his new single “Falling Slowly” MV. Kim Seon Ho and Moon Ga Young will star in Daesung’s new song. The member confirmed the “Falling Slowly” release date on X (formerly Twitter).

Kim Daesung made his solo debut in music in 2008 with the trot song “Look at Me, Gwisoon.” Daesung’s song choice for his solo debut surprised fans as his group BIGBANG mainly focused on pop music.

But his solo debut also helped carve out his new identity as an artist. His style of solo songs made him stand out and shake off BIGBANG’s ‘boyish’ image. Daesung’s popularity as an individual artist in Japan prompted him to release two Japanese studio albums and three extended plays.

After taking a short hiatus from his solo projects, Daesung made his comeback with a new single, “Flow,” in 2023, and now he is gearing up for a “Falling Slowly” release.

Kim Seon-Ho, Moon Ga-Young to star in Daesung’s ‘Falling Slowly’ music video

Daesung’s new single “Falling Slowly” will be released on March 5 at 6 p.m. KST/ 4 a.m. ET/ 1 a.m. PT/ 9 a.m. GMT. The song’s official music video will be available on Daesung’s official YouTube channel.

Kim Seon Ho and Moon Ga Young, the two popular K-drama stars who starred in the hit drama Welcome to Waikiki 2, will be the lead actors in the new music video.

Daesung’s new era of music is more significant to fans as he terminated his contract with his old label, YG Entertainment, on December 26, 2022, and started a new chapter in his career.

The 34-year-old K-pop icon assured fans that he will still participate in BIGBANG projects while pursuing his individual endeavors.

Since then, Daesung has released his new single, “Flow,” and performed at various music festivals. The “Cotton Candy” crooner attended the Waterbomb Japan festival in Nagoya on July 22 last year and participated in the Tokyo edition on July 29.

After a gap of six years, he also held his first fan concert last year in August called “DShow Vol. 2.” He toured Japan’s multiple cities, including Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, to meet fans in person.
