New K-Pop Group Debuts in March 2024: I’LL-IT, UNIS, Candy Shop & More

The K-pop world is expanding at an ever-increasing rate. In March 2024, several new K-pop rookies will debut to kickstart their careers in the Korean music industry. From HYBE’s latest girl group, I’LL-IT, to Brave Entertainment’s Candy Shop, ComingSoon looks at the most anticipated K-pop debuts set for March.

The journey of debut for K-pop idols has evolved significantly with each new generation. In the past, agencies would tease pictures and short videos of rookies before their debut, leaving fans eagerly awaiting their official introduction to interact with them.

Now, the rookies get as much exposure as a seasoned idol even before their debut. For example, HYBE’s upcoming female K-pop group I’LL-IT recently made their Paris Fashion Show debut even before starting their music career.

So, without further ado, let’s look at some of the most exciting artists coming to claim K-pop’s top spot soon enough.

Candy Shop

After Brave Girls, music label Brave Entertainment is ready to make another girl group’s debut, named Candy Shop. The new K-pop group will have four members: Sui, Sarang, Soram, and Yuina.

Brave Entertainment says, “Candy Shop is a compound word of ‘CAtch N Draw Youth’, which means ‘let’s catch and draw youth,’ and ‘Shop’ symbolizes the space that connects members and listeners.”

The label further noted: “The members, who have a variety of charms like the colorful ‘Candy’ have the ambition to lead listeners’ sympathy by presenting music that represents their generation.”

Candy Shop will officially make their debut on March 27, 2024.

UNIS

K-pop rookie group UNIS was formed from the SBS K-pop survival show Universe Ticket. The group comprises eight members: Jin Hyeonju, Nana, Gehlee Dangca, Oh Yoona, Kotoko, Bang Yunha, Elisia, and Lim Seowon.

The group will be active for two years and six months, their label, F&F Entertainment, has revealed. The group also looks at the same debut date as Candy Shop- March 27, 2024.

RESCENE

Muze Entertainment’s new girl group RESCENE will begin their music career this March with their album RESCENE. The girl group comprises five members: Woni, Liv, Minami, May, and Zena.

The group’s single album RESCENE will be released on March 26, 2024. Some of the members of RESCENE are already familiar to K-pop fans. Minami participated in MBC’s My Teenage Girl. Zena of Rescene previously joined the K-pop reality show Star Awakening.

I’LL-IT

March will be all about girl group debuts, and the most awaited girl group of the month is HYBE’s I’LL-IT. The K-pop rookies will be making their official debut on March 25 with their debut extended play. As per BELIFT, the members have started shooting for the official music video and are in the last phase of preparations for the album.

I-LL-IT consists of five members: Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha. The K-pop group will debut from the label of rising stars, Enhypen.

Before D-day, the girls expressed their excitement as they embarked on this new journey. “We are very glad and excited to finally make our debut that we have been longing for. We also thank our fans who have been waiting patiently. We believe we’ve grown one step further through the recording sessions and the music video shoots we’ve had, and those experiences made us realize that we are actually making our debut,” I’LL-IT said via an official statement.

March will be a battle of K-pop girl group debuts. After NewJeans, Le Sserafim, IVE, and FIFTY FIFTY, fans wait to see which new group catches the world’s attention next.
