BTS anniversary month is extra special for fans this year as the K-pop septet teases reunion on Jin’s military discharge day. The reunion of the Bangtan Boys is a special surprise amidst other Festa activities. Kim Seok-Jin, aka BTS Jin, will be the first of seven members to complete his mandatory military duty. Followed by Jin, J-hope will finish his military training in October 2024 after enlisting in April 2023.
BTS members plan reunion on Jin’s military release day
BTS member Jin will be officially released from the military on June 12. Reports suggest all BTS members will have a reunion to welcome the “Astronaut” crooner before his Festa event on June 13. As per an exclusive Dispatch report, all BTS members, including RM, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, have applied for vacation days to meet Jin.
The report further reveals that BTS members planned to reunite before Jin’s military unit. However, concerns regarding causing congestion have prompted the Grammy-nominated K-pop group to hold the celebration quietly somewhere in Seoul.
Followed by Jin’s military discharge, the 31-year-old member will meet fans at BTS Festa on June 13 at 3 p.m. KST/ 2 a.m. ET. Jin’s Greetings event will be held at Jamsil Arena in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
BigHit Music announced that a lucky 1000 fans will be able to meet Jin and get a hug at Jin’s greetings event. Later, another event will follow titled “Message from Jin,” where Jin will showcase various performances that fans have longed to watch.
For global fans who could not attend the Jin’s greetings incident in person, BTS’ label BigHit Music has arranged a live streaming of the second part of the program. BTS ARMY membership holders (GL, JP, US) can watch the event exclusively on Weverse.
Meanwhile, BTS Festa month has already gifted fans a plethora of memorable content. Jungkook, the youngest Bangtan member, dropped his emotional anniversary track, “Never Let Go,” on June 7. Within days of its release, the song has received over 13 million Spotify streams.
