Everyone knows that September means the start of the fall season. Falling leaves, Halloween decorations, Thanksgiving meals, bonfires to combat the chilly weather—it’s hard not to get caught up in it all. It’s a truly beautiful time of year, and one that practically begs to be captured on film. Unfortunately, this is not the kind of fall we’re talking about here.
No, the fall we’re concerned about is a titular kind. Not tripping, either—No, this list is not about pratfalls like the ones you could find in a Mr. Bean movie or a classic slapstick comedy. These are the very best “fall“ movies—that is, best movies with fall somewhere in the title.
