Deadline reports that Academy Award winner Rami Malek is in talks to join the upcoming Warner Bros. movie The Little Things, starring opposite Denzel Washington.
The outlet reports that Malek will play “a sharp young detective” who teams up with Denzel Washington’s “seen-it-all deputy sheriff” as the pair go on the hunt for a serial killer. In the film “the sheriff has a nose for the ‘little things’ that are helpful in putting clues together, but he’s got baggage and a willingness to cut corners that bristles with his younger partners.”
John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side, The Highwaymen) will write and direct the film with production gearing up to start in September.
Malek can next be see as the main antagonist of the upcoming 25th James Bond movie, set to debut in theaters on April 8, 2020. He can be seen on television in the fourth and final season of Mr. Robot on USA Network later this year.
