Looks like we’ll have to wait quite some time before we get to see Russell Crowe go bonkers in Derrick Borte’s road rage thriller Unhinged. Eleven months, in point of fact. According to JoBlo, Solstice Studios has given the film an August 28, 2020 release date despite wrapping production last month. While this is indeed bad news, Unhinged certainly sounds like the perfect movie for a post-summer audience.

The suspense film follows a young woman named Rachel (Pistorius) who finds herself running from a man (Crowe) with a severe case of road rage. Carl Ellsworth (Disturbia) wrote the script and Derrick Borte (American Dreamer) is directing.
Rising young star Gabriel Bateman (Child’s Play) joined the production in July. Bateman got his rise with a main role in the 2016 horror hit Lights Out and has since appeared in last year’s reboot of the family drama Benji and this year’s successful horror remake/reboot Child’s Play. He will next be seen and heard in the upcoming animated family adventure Playmobil: The Movie, which is set to hit theaters on August 30.
