According to Deadline, Golden Globe winner Bruce Willis has officially signed on for the leading role in a brand new sci-fi action film titled Cosmic Sin which will be directed by Corey Large and Edward Drake, who have also worked with Willis on Saban Films’ Breach that is currently on post-production.

Cosmic Sin will follow the story of a group of warriors and scientists who must fight to protect and save their race when a hostile alien species with the power to infect and take over human hosts sets its sights on a futuristic human society.
Bruce Willis is no stranger to the sci-fi action genre as he famously starred in iconic films such as: Terry Gilliam’s 1995 film 12 Monkeys starring alongside Oscar winner Brad Pitt; Luc Besson’s 1997 film The Fifth Element opposite Gary Oldman and Milla Jovovich; the disaster film Armageddon which was directed by Michael Bay in 1998. His other notable film credits include: Die Hard film series, The Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, Red, Looper and Unbreakable.

Cosmic Sin will be written and directed by Corey Large and Edward Drake with Large serving as producer. Large is best know for executive producing the spy thriller The November Man starring Pierce Brosnan and the critically-acclaimed horror film It Follows which was directed by David Robert Mitchell. The Exchange will handle sales for the film.
