Movie and TV streaming service Paramount+ announced its upcoming comedy feature Jerry and Marge Go Large will star Bryan Cranston (The One and Only Ivan) and Annette Bening (Hope Gap), according to Deadline.
Jerry and Marge Go Large is based on a true story where a retired Michigan couple finds a loophole in the Massachusetts lottery and wins $27 million. The couple then helps revive their small town. The film is scheduled to start production in July.

The film will be directed by David Frankel, who has directed films such as Collateral Beauty, Hope Springs, and The Devil Wears Prada. It will be written by Brad Copeland, who is known for his work on Spies in Disguise and The Inbetweeners. Gil Netter along with Levantine Films will produce while Kevin Halloran will serve as EP. Amy Baer will also produce via MRC Film’s Landline Pictures. Tory Metzger and Renee Witt of Levantine Films developed and packaged the film with the help of Netter.
The last role Cranston starred in was on the Showtime limited series Your Honor. In terms of film, his most recent projects include The One and Only Ivan, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, and Isle of Dogs. He is best known for his work on Breaking Bad as lead character Walter White.

Bening’s most recent film is the Hope Gap, starring opposite Bill Nighy. She also starred in 2019’s The Report alongside Adam Driver, Corey Stoll, and Jon Hamm. Some upcoming projects she is currently slated to star in are Death on the Nile and Nyad.
