Following the most recent addition of Brendan Fraser, Deadline brings word that Oscar-nominated actor John Lithgow has officially signed on to join the all-star cast of Martin Scorsese’s forthcoming film adaptation of David Grann’s crime drama novel, Killers of the Flower Moon. Lithgow is set to portray the role of Prosecutor Leaward.
The acclaimed actor recently starred in HBO drama series Perry Mason, which earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Should he win the award, this would be his sixth Emmy win out of 13 nominations. He will next be seen in TV shows such as The Old Man, and the upcoming revival Dexter: New Blood, where he will reprise his role as the serial killer Arthur Mitchell.
