ComingSoon is excited to debut an Abandoned clip from the upcoming horror film starring Emma Roberts. Vertical Entertainment and TPC will release the film in theaters on June 17 and it will then make its way to video on demand services on June 24. Joining Roberts are John Gallagher Jr. and Michael Shannon.

“Abandoned follows the sharply intense lives of Sara (Emma Roberts), her husband Alex (John Gallagher Jr.), and their infant son as they move into a remote farmhouse, which harbors a dark, tragic history,” says the synopsis. “As their home’s past is revealed, the mother’s fragility escalates to a state of psychosis that jeopardizes her own safety and that of her newborn son. Directed by Spencer Squire, the film stars Emma Roberts (American Horror Story, Nerve), John Gallagher Jr. (Peppermint), and Michael Shannon (Heart of Champions).”

Abandoned is directed by Spencer Squire from a script penned by Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott. It is rated PG-13 for terror, some violent content, thematic material, and brief strong language.
