Ben Affleck and Rachel Weisz have signed on for Terrence Malick’s untitled next project reports TheWrap.
Though details of the project are unknown outside of it being a romantic drama, the ensemble is currently set to include Christian Bale, Javier Bardem, Rachel McAdams and Olga Kurylenko.
Malick has, in the past, been famous for long gaps in his creative output (including a two-decade period between Days of Heaven and The Thin Red Line). Assuming this project moves forward without delay, it will represent the shortest break between films as his upcoming The Tree of Life is still rumored to be in post-production and without a scheduled release.
