First look at the poster for Charlize Theron’s new film, Tully
Focus Features has released the first poster for Academy Award winner Charlize Theron’s new film, Tully, a new comedy from Academy Award-nominated director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) and Academy Award-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (Juno).
Marlo (Theron), a mother of three including a newborn, is gifted a night nanny by her brother (Mark Duplass). Hesitant to the extravagance at first, Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully (Mackenzie Davis).
Tully is produced by Bron Studios’ Aaron L. Gilbert; Reitman and Helen Estabrook through their Right of Way Productions; Cody and Mason Novick; and Theron, A.J. Dix and Beth Kono through Denver & Delilah Productions. Bron Studios’ involvement with the film was announced on May 6, 2016.
Focus Features chairman Peter Kujawski spoke about the project last May saying that they are “thrilled to be teaming up with Jason for the first time after being long admirers of his witty, inspired filmmaking, and once again with Charlize following last year’s award-winning ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’ and this year’s much-anticipated ‘Atomic Blonde.’ She gives another captivating performance in Tully under Jason’s direction and Diablo’s words that find the perfect balance between comedy and emotion.”
Focus Features is also offering a chance to win a trip for two to the premiere of Tully in Los Angeles. Share your own “sticker face” photo now on Instagram using #TullySweeps. Check out the rules here: TullySweepsRules.com.
