It’s been over a year since we last heard any word on the Armie Hammer-led thriller Wounds and after premiering earlier this year at Sundance Film Festival it finally has found a new home at Hulu as the first trailer, which can be viewed in the player below, has revealed it will premiere on the streaming service next month!

The film, written and directed by Babak Anvari (Under the Shadow) based on the Nathan Balliingrud novella The Invisible Filth, follows a New Orleans bartender (Hammer, The Social Network) as his life begins to unravel after discovering a phone left behind at his bar that leads to a series of disturbing and inexplicable events.
In addition to Hammer, the film features a small ensemble cast that includes Fifty Shades alum Dakota Johnson, Atlanta star Zazie Beetz, Nocturnal Animals‘ Karl Glusman and Orange is the New Black vet Brad William Henke.
The film is being produced by Christopher Kopp and Lucas Toh, with Annapurna Pictures set as the co-distributor alongside Hulu and Netfflix, who will be releasing it in the United Kingdom in October. Annapurna previously had the film set for a theatrical release earlier this year in March before the studio shelved its release in the midst of studio financial difficulties.
