ComingSoon is debuting the exclusive trailer for the upcoming comedy-drama feature A Grand Romantic Gesture, starring BAFTA winner Gina McKee (My Policeman, Notting Hill) and Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge (The Great, The Undoing). Gravitas Ventures will release the movie on Digital platforms on February 8, 2022.

“When Ava (McKee) is forced into early retirement her husband and daughter encourage her to learn gourmet cooking and prepare to be a grandmother,” reads the official synopsis. “Instead, she signs up for a drama class where she is cast as Juliet – and falls in love with her Romeo.”

The film was written and directed by Joan Carr-Wiggin (If I Were You, Getting To Know You). It is produced by David Gordian and Alan Latham, with Borga Dorter serving as consulting producer and Ryan Keller as line producer.
