Netflix has dropped the official Choose or Die trailer for the upcoming survival horror film starring Asa Butterfield and Iola Evans. It is scheduled to make its debut on Friday, April 15.
The video, which you can check out below, features a young cash-strapped woman who tries to play a mysterious horror video game from the ’80s in hopes of winning the $100,000 prize. However, she’ll soon discover that this isn’t an ordinary game, as it can somehow affect and manipulate her own reality.

Choose or Die (formerly titled as CURS>R) stars Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) as Isaac, Iola Evans (The 100) as Kayla, Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes) as Hal, Kate Fleetwood (The Wheel of Time) as Laura, Ryan Gage (The Hobbit films) as Lance, Angela Griffin (Coronation Street) as Thea, and Joe Bolland (Sherwood) as Beck, with Nightmare on Elm Street star Robert Englund as himself.
“After firing up a lost 80s survival horror game, two friends unleash a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing them to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences as they step into a surreal world of next-level terror,” reads the synopsis.

Choose or Die is directed by Toby Meakins from a screenplay written by Simon Allen. It is produced by Sebastien Raybaud and John Zois for Anton, and Matthew James Wilkinson for Stigma Films, with Allen, Nick Angel, and Liza Glucoft serving as executive producers.
