Amazon Studios and Blumhouse have released an official trailer for Run Sweetheart Run, the upcoming thriller starring Ella Balinska and Pilou Asbæk. The film will be available for streaming on October 28 on Prime Video.

The Run Sweetheart Run trailer features Balinska’s Cherie as she goes on a blind date with a handsome stranger named Ethan. However, her perfect date night slowly turns into a nightmare when Ethan reveals himself as a psychopath who plans to play a dangerous game with Cherie.
Run Sweetheart Run is directed by Shana Fester from a screenplay she co-wrote with Keith Josef Adkins and Kellee Terrell. The film stars Ella Balinska (Resident Evil), Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Sand and Fog), Aml Ameen (Sense8), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), and Clark Gregg (Agents of SHIELD).
“Initially apprehensive when her boss insists she meet with one of his most important clients, single mom Cherie is relieved and excited when she meets charismatic Ethan,” reads the synopsis. “The influential businessman defies expectations and sweeps Cherie off her feet. But at the end of the night, when the two are alone together, he reveals his true, violent nature. Battered and terrified, she flees for her life, beginning a relentless game of cat-and-mouse with a blood-thirsty assailant hell-bent on her utter destruction. Run Sweetheart Run is produced by Feste, Effie T. Brown, Jason Blum, and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones. The film has its world premiere last 2020 at the Sundance Film Festival.
