ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive The Last Breath clip previewing the upcoming shark thriller, which is set to release in theaters and on demand on July 26, 2024.
The Last Breath is directed by Joachim Hedén (Breaking Surface), from a script written by Nick Saltrese. The film tells the story of a group of divers who go diving amidst a long-lost shipwreck, only to become trapped inside and have to fend off a shark.
Kim Spearman, Jack Parr, Alexander Arnold, Erin Mullen, Arlo Carter, and Julian Sands star in the upcoming film.
What happens in The Last Breath clip?
In the new The Last Breath clip, the group of divers are trying to figure out what happened to another member of the group after arriving inside the ship. Shortly after, the guideline they had been using to mark their return starts being pulled tightly, and they’re forced to cut it.

“Finding the long-lost wreck of the warship USS Charlotte has been the lifelong pursuit of Levi (Julian Sands), an aging expat running a tourist dive business in the British Virgin Islands together with recent college dropout Noah (Jack Parr),” reads the film’s synopsis. “When the USS Charlotte emerges for the first time in eighty years after a tropical storm, Noah’s friends visiting the island insist for them all to do a once-in-a-lifetime dive on the newly discovered wreck before it’s handed over to the authorities. The dream dive rapidly turns into a nightmare as they become trapped in the darkness of the Charlotte’s interior, thirty meters down and with a dwindling air supply. And then they discover that they are not alone.”
