Darren Lynn Bousman Visits Most Craved!

Darren Lynn Bousman is about to start touring with his latest, Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival

On this week’s episode of Most Craved, we’re pleased to welcome Darren Lynn Bousman to the studio as a guest host. Darren Lynn Bousman, who launched his career directing Saw II through IV, has since been making efforts to transform the way his films are experienced, building traveling road show presentations like Repo! The Genetic Opera and his latest, Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival. As he explains himself in the player above, each stop along the tour will offer a different blend of pre-show acts tied to the film’s supernatural carnival theme.

Darren Lynn Bousman also joins in on our discussion involving three of the biggest news stories of the week, all of which have ties to franchise continuity. Bill Murray was spotted on the set of the new Ghostbusters, but rumors suggest that he won’t be playing Peter Venkman in the Paul Feig film. Then, it was revealed that Matt Ryan will reprise his “Constantine” role on an upcoming episode of The CW’s “Arrow,” expanding the continuity of the network’s small screen DC Universe. Finally, Winona Ryder says that Beetlejuice 2 is really moving forward and that she’ll be returning! What will a sequel to Beetlejuice be like more than 25 years after the original?

This week’s hosts include Jenna Busch of Legion of LeiaWilliam Bibbiani of CraveOnline and our own Silas Lesnick. Don’t let the conversation stop with us, though! Share your own thoughts on any of today’s topics in the comments below and let us know if there’s something you’d like to see us cover in the future.

We’ve also launched the official Most Craved Twitter feed and we’d love it if you’d give us a follow!
