Pandemic star Missi Pyle drops by the Most Craved studio and joins our summer movie discussion
It’s hard to believe that it’s already April and that the summer 2016 movie season is about to officially kick off. This year, there are some major contenders for your entertainment dollars as Marvel Studios unleashes Captain America: Civil War, 20th Century Fox delivers another mighty mutant ensemble with X-Men: Apocalypse and Paramount Pictures plans to boldly go once again with Star Trek Beyond. Those are just the tip of the iceberg, however, as this summer looks destined to be one of the most interesting lineups in awhile. On this new episode of Most Craved, we’re talking about our most anticipated summer 2016 movies. Check it out in the player above!
This week’s Most Craved features regular hosts Jenna Busch of Legion of Leia and William Bibbiani of CraveOnline and our own Silas Lesnick and we’re also thrilled to welcome to the studio actress Missi Pyle! With more than a hundred credits to her name, including films like Galaxy Quest, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Artist, it’s a pretty safe bet that you’re already a Missi Pyle fan. If not, just check out the new episode and you’ll immediately become one. She’s joining us to chat about her new film, Pandemic, which is now available on VOD and is also now playing in select theaters.
Pandemic is set in the near future, where a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more infected than uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained. Lauren (Rachel Nichols) is a doctor, who, after the fall of New York, comes to Los Angeles to lead a team to hunt for and rescue uninfected survivors.
If you enjoyed this week’s discussion, you should know that we’ve launched the official Most Craved Twitter feed and we’d love it if you’d give us a follow! What’s more, we’ve now got a visual Most Craved episode guide that you can check out in the gallery viewer at the bottom of this page. Be sure to come back next week, too, as we’ll have another new episode!
