We’re just one week away from the domestic release of Ron Howard‘s latest Dan Brown adaptation, Inferno. ComingSoon.net recently traveled to Florence, Italy for the film’s premiere. In the players below, you can check out two of our Inferno red carpet interviews, originally posted via Facebook Live. In the top player, we’ve got a conversation with Brown, who teases his upcoming next Langdon adventure, Origins. Then, in the bottom player, we’ve got an Inferno red carpet interview with Howard, who has a great response when asked who he’d like at his side leading him through the Inferno.
Having already pulled in $50 million internationally, director Ron Howard‘s latest is gearing up for its domestic debut next Friday, October 28.
A Sony Pictures release, Inferno hails from Columbia Pictures and Imagine Entertainment and adapts Brown’s 2013 novel and serves as a sequel to Howard’s The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. Tom Hanks returns as Robert Langdon, starring opposite Felicity Jones, Omar Sy and Ben Foster.
Inferno finds famous Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.
Inferno also stars Irrfan Khan (Life of Pi) as Harry Sims (also known as The Provost) and Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen) as Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, the head of the World Health Organization.
Check back soon as we’ll have further interview from Florence, including a conversation with Robert Langdon himself, Tom Hanks.
