Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys have released a new sixth-scale figure, this time in the form of a diecast version of Iron Man’s Mark II armor.
The new look, which is inspired by the 2008 film Iron Man, isthe second version of Tony Stark’s suit void of any color, this time opting for a shining, all-silver finish. The figure is also one of Hot Toys’ most complex yet according to the company, featuring open armor parts that allow the figure to be displayed in different stages of assembly.
Figure comes with impressive display base, tons of accessories
The new figure stands about 6.25″ in height and also comes with a specially designed circular figure stand, which includes an LED light up function.
As is the case with many Hot Toys figures, the Iron Man Mark II variant will also feature the company’s rolling eyeballs, comes with various illuminated effects and LED components, and most importantly for collectors, features a ton of accessories, including a headsculpt modeled after Robert Downey Jr., two sets of missile launchers, two sets of forearm armor, three interchangeable hands, and more.
The figure is available for preorder now on Sideshow’s website and retails for $455. The figure is expected to ship sometime between January 2025 and June 2025, so fans will have to wait a bit before getting their hands on this one.
