Sideshow has unveiled a new 1/6 scale Pennywise figure based on the Tim Curry version for the TV series adaptation of Stephen King’s classic.
Sideshow Unleashes a New Pennywise Figure
Preying on children and bringing their greatest fears to life, it awakens every 30 years to terrorize the small New England town of Derry. This sinister force of horror takes on the memorable visage of Pennywise the Clown in Stephen King’s IT.
Based on the classic IT (1990) television miniseries, the Pennywise 1/6 Scale Figure by Sideshow features a detailed likeness of Tim Curry in the iconic role. The figure comes with two interchangeable portraits, one smiling and the other displaying monstrous teeth, both with thick white face paint and synthetic red hair. The shapeshifting dancing clown wears an expertly tailored fabric costume, which includes a loose yellow clown suit, multi-colored ruffled collar, bright orange pom poms, and a blue and purple striped overcoat.
This highly articulated figure comes with a range of accessories, plus a variety of swap-out hands, including classic white gloved hands and a set of creepy claws, allowing collectors to recreate a multitude of menacing poses. Pennywise carries a paper boat as well as a bouquet of colorful balloons, including one removable yellow balloon that can be held on its own to help him terrorize children.
The Pennywise figure is available to pre-order now from Sideshow.com for a shipping window of December 2024 – March 2025.
