We already knew that Succession Season 3 would release in October and now we have a final release date. HBO announced that the hit drama will return on Sunday, October 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The confirmation comes after nearly two years since the Brian Cox-led series had concluded its 10-episode second season, which received seven Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series, and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Jeremy Strong.
“Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of Season 2, Logan Roy begins Season three in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances,” reads the official Succession Season 3 logline. “Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”
HBO’s Succession Season 3 will feature the introduction of several guest stars including Alexander Skarsgård as Lukas Matsson, Adrien Brody as Josh Aaronson, Sanaa Lathan as Lisa Arthur, Linda Emond as Michelle-Anne Vanderhoven, and Jihae Kim as Berry Schneider.

Succession follows the story of the Roy family – Logan Roy (Cox) and his four children – who control one of the biggest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world. The series tracks their lives as they contemplate what the future will hold for them once their aging father begins to step back from the company.
The series stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Alan Ruck, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Nicholas Braun, Hiam Abbass, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Rob Yang, Dagmara Dominczyk, Arian Moayed, J. Smith-Cameron, Justine Lupe, David Rasche, and Fisher Stevens.

Succession hails from creator, showrunner, and executive producer, Academy Award nominee Jesse Armstrong. It is executive produced by Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Will Ferrell, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, and Tony Roche.
The series launched its ten-episode first season in 2018, where it won two major Golden Globe Awards including Best Television Series – Drama and Best Actor – Television Series Drama for Brian Cox.
