Chris O’Shea has joined the cast of Riverdale in a major recurring role, according to a recent report from Deadline.

O’Shea will play the role of Percival Perkins, a new resident of the town of Riverdale. According to the report, Percival is a “manipulative, powerful, and increasingly dangerous” person that comes into conflict with many of the starring characters of the show, especially Archie. O’Shea’s character will be introduced in the upcoming sixth season of the show, which will pick up right from the previous season ended.
Among the many storylines in Season 6, the aftermath of the end of Season 5 will be explored, which see Archie and Betty waking up in the town of Rivervale, with their lives in Riverdale seeming like nothing more than a dream.
Riverdale currently stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Vanessa Morgan as Toni Topaz, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Charles Melton as Reggie Mantle, and Drew Ray Tanner as Fangs Fogarty.
