The Summer I Turned Pretty Poster Sets Premiere Date for Teen Drama

Prime Video has revealed the first official poster for its upcoming series adaptation of The Summer I Turned Pretty, based on To All the Boys I Loved Before author Jenny Han’s young adult romance novel of the same name. The teen comedy drama will be available for streaming on June 17.

The Summer I Turned Pretty will be led by Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, and Minnie Mills, with Colin Ferguson and Tom Everett Scott.

“The series is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship,” reads the synopsis. “It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.”

The Summer I Turned Pretty is executive produced by Jenny Han, Gabrielle Stanton, Karen Rosenfelt, Hope Hartman, Mads Hansen, and Nne Ebong, with Han and Stanton serving as showrunners. The series is a co-production of Amazon Studios and wiip.

In addition to this Prime Video series, Han is also showrunner and an executive producer on the Netflix TV spin-off of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, centering around Lara Jean Covey’s youngest sister, Kitty.
