David Rysdahl, Sam Spruell, Jessica Pohly, and Nick Gomez have all been cast in the fifth season, according to the report. They’ll join previously announced stars Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Joe Keery, Lamorne Morris, and Richa Moorjani in the series, making for yet another star-studded cast for this entry.
Rysdahl (Oppenheimer) will play Wayne Lyon, Spruell (The North Water) will play Ole Munch, Pohly (SMILF) will play Agent Meyer, and Gomez (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) will play Agent Joaquin.
The latest installment in the Fargo series will once again stem from Noah Hawley and his company 26 Keys, who have been the creative team behind all four of the previous seasons. Unlike past entries, which have taken place in the distant past, the fifth season will take place in 2019. The logline for the show reads, “when is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?”
