From Season 2: MGM+ Sets Return Date for Horror Drama

The premiere date for the upcoming second season of the sci-fi horror drama From has finally been announced as part of MGM+’s 2023 line-up. The series is scheduled to make its return on April 23, exclusively on MGM+, formerly known as Epix.

“In Season 2, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers,” reads the synopsis.

From Season 2 will also introduced five new cast members including Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, A.J. Simmons, and Deborah Grover.

From is created and executive produced by John Griffin, with Jeff Pinkner serving as the showrunner. It stars Harold Perrineau (Lost, The Rookie, Claws), Catalina Sandino Moreno (The Affair), Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers), Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He (The Good Doctor), Chloe Van Landschoot, Shaun Majumder, Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls), Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay (Castle Rock), Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice), Elizabeth Moy, and Avery Konrad.

“The series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter,” reads the synopsis. “As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.”

From is a production by EPIX Studios and MGM International Television Productions, with Midnight Radio and AGBO serving as producers. Pinkner, Jack Bender, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, and Adrienne Erickson are also executive producing along with Anthony Russo, Joe Russo Mike Larocca, and Lindsay Dunn.
