Lucy Punch has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming FX series “Powers”, Deadline reports. Punch will play the part of Detective Deena Pilgrim who, along with her partner, Detective Christian Walker, investigates superhero-related homicides.
The news was immediately confirmed by Brian Michael Bendis, co-creator of the “Powers” comic book series with artist Michael Avon Oeming.
