Lois and Clark’s Teri Hatcher is set to guest star later this season on The CW’s Supergirl
Another familiar face is heading to The CW‘s Supergirl as word breaks that Lois and Clark’s Teri Hatcher will play a recurring, villainous role in the second half of the DC Comics series’ second season. Teri Hatcher’s Lois and Clark co-star Dean Cain has already appeared on the show as one of Kara’s adoptive parents. Meanwhile, Hatcher’s Desperate Housewives cast mate Brenda Strong recently made her debut as Lillian Luthor, the adoptive mother of Katie McGrath’s Lena Luthor.
“No offense to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part,” says Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, “but Teri Hatcher is my all time favorite Lois Lane. To have her come back to the SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg [Berlanti], and the fans.”
Next week’s new episode of Supergirl is titled “The Martian Chronicles,” and is set to air February 6 with the following official description:
“Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford), a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann (guest star Sharon Leal) back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) determine the best way to keep M’gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them.”
