Last night’s episode of Supernatural found Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, alongside friend and ally Castiel (Misha Collins), scrambling to come up with a way to rescue their mother, Mary (Samantha Smith), and Jack (Alexander Calvert) from the apocalyptic world. After discovering that the soulless prophet Donatello was corrupted, Castiel extracts the four necessary ingredients from his mind (leaving Donatello in a brain-dead state) that the Winchesters will need in order to open a gate to the war-torn universe Jack and Mary are trapped in: the grace of an archangel, a fruit from the Tree of Life, the Seal of Solomon, and the blood of “a most holy man.”
In next week’s episode, Sam and Dean will be working on collecting those remaining ingredients but will run into some complications along the way. Supernatural 13.15 is set to air on March 8, 2018, and is officially described as follows:
“Sam and Dean are close to collecting everything they need to open a rift into the apocalyptic world and possibly rescuing Mary and Jack. The one missing ingredient leads the Winchesters to a black market for religious relics where everything is not always as it seems. Amanda Tapping (Sanctuary) directed the episode written by Robert Singer & Andrew Dabb.”
Supernatural follows brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester. The thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester brothers continues in Supernatural‘s 13th season. Sam and Dean have spent their lives on the road, battling supernatural threats that include everything from the demon that killed their mother to the usual vampires, ghosts, shape-shifters, angels and fallen gods rampaging over the land. They’ve come out on top with the help of allies, both human and supernatural, but every victory comes at a price.
The Winchesters premiere is approaching. It’s almost time for the official release of the Supernatural prequel series. The story will follow Dean and Sam…
