Starz has picked up a brand new docuseries titled Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham which hails from from Outlander co-stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish as they go on a journey to discover the rich and complex heritage of Scotland. Starz’s hit drama series had aired its fifth season finale last May 10 and has already been renewed for another 12-episode season. The announcement also came with the release of the first teaser, which you can check out in the player below!

Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham takes viewers from the heart of Scotland at Glencoe, the site of a great massacre and major clan feud to Inverness and the Culloden battlefield, the site of a great battle and historic turning point, known well to fans of “Outlander,” that molded Scotland as we know it today.
“The genuine curiosity and passion that Sam and Graham have for the landscapes they visit and the stories they uncover while traveling through the heart of Scotland makes ‘Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham’ a truly enjoyable journey of discovery for the audience,” Starz’s President of Original Programming, Christina Davis said in a statement. (via Deadline) “The series gives context and texture to Highland life and history, woven together, much like the tartan for which Scotland is so famous, and we look forward to taking this road trip with these two great friends.”

The hour-long series is consists of eight episodes and was created and executive produced by Heughan and McTavish along with Alex Norouzi. It is a co-production by Sony Pictures Television and Boardwalk Pictures. Starz senior executives Karen Bailey and Alice Dickens-Koblin are overseeing the show for the network.
