Loki features the return of Tom Hiddleston as he reprises his the fan-favorite role as the mischievous titular villain, who was last seen successfully escaping with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame, after Iron Man and Ant-Man’s failed attempt to retrieve it. Because of this, the God of Mischief has been arrested by the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, due to the damage he had done with the timeline. Now, he must willingly work with the TVA in order to fix the reality he broke or else face deletion from existence.
The series will also star Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Cailey Fleming, and Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane and Wunmi Mosaku.

All upcoming six episodes of Loki are directed by Kate Herron from a screenplay coming from head writer Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty). Waldron is also the scribe for Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which Loki will reportedly have ties into just like with WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Executive producers are Herron, Kevin Feige, Louis D’ Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Stephen Broussard.
