Netflix has released the first teaser for their newest adult-animated comedy series titled Q-Force, centering around fabulous and badass LGBTQ+ spies. The 10-episode series is scheduled to make its debut on Thursday, September 2.
The Q-Force teaser, which you can check out below, introduces us to the main characters as they form their agency’s very first queer spy division. It also gives viewers a preview of what to expect in the action-comedy series including an extravagant Pride parade, and a glimpse into their crazy missions.

The series will feature the voices of Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) as Agent Mary, Wanda Sykes (Over the Hedge) as Agent Deb, Patti Harrison (Raya and the Last Dragon) as Agent Stat, David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow) as Agent Buck, and Matt Rogers (Our Cartoon President) as Agent Twink,. Joining them are Gary Cole (Kim Possible) as Director Dirk Chunley, the head of the AIA; Laurie Metcalf (The Conners) as V, Deputy Director and highest-ranking woman at AIA, and a badass with a soft spot for Agent Mary; and Gabe Liedman (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as Benji, Mary’s sweet and charming love interest who often is in peril due to his proximity to Q-Force.
Q-Force centers around Steve Maryweather, AKA Agent Mary, who was once the Golden Boy of the American Intelligence Agency (AIA), until he came out as gay. Unable to fire him, the Agency sent him off to West Hollywood, to disappear into obscurity. Instead, he assembled a misfit squad of LGBTQ+ geniuses. Joining forces with the expert mechanic Deb, master of drag and disguise Twink, and hacker Stat, together they’re Q-Force. But, after a decade of waiting for their first official mission from The AIA, Mary becomes hell-bent on proving himself to the Agency that turned its back on him, and decides to go rogue with Q-Force. After finding their own case, and solving it on their own terms, they get the reluctant approval of The AIA, and are officially upgraded to Active Secret Agents in the field. But, that approval comes with one major caveat– they must put up with a new member of the squad: straight-guy Agent Buck.

Q-Force is created and executive produced by Gabe Liedman, who also serves as writer and showrunner. Executive producers are Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner, Ben Heins, Mike Schur, and David Miner. Universal TV is co-producing with Hazy Mills, Fremulon, and 3 Arts Entertainment.
