Netflix has finally revealed the full trailer for the upcoming sixth and final season of their hit supernatural series Lucifer, which is scheduled to debut on September 10, with the last 10 episodes. The Lucifer final season trailer, which you can check out below, provides us a preview of the aftermath following the events of last season’s finale, where Lucifer was chosen to takeover his father’s throne in Heaven.
The video highlights Lucifer’s doubts with his new responsibility which leads to apocalyptic signals as earth is left unattended without a ruler. It also teases that arrival of a brand new threat in the form of Brianna Hildebrand, whose character intends to destroy Lucifer.

Based very loosely on the Vertigo comic, Lucifer tells the story of the original fallen angel. Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar abandoned his throne. He then retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with LAPD detective Chloe Decker to take down criminals.
The series stars Tom Ellis as the titular devil, Lauren German as Chloe, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Rachel Harris as Linda, Scarlett Estevez as Trixie, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Inbar Lavi as Eve, and Kevin Alejandro as Det. Dan Espinoza.
The final season will also introduce new characters including: Deadpool‘s Brianna Hildebrand as Rory, a rebellious and angsty angel hoping to follow in Lucifer’s footsteps; and Merrin Dungey as Sonya, a no-nonsense cop who forms an unlikely bond with Amenadiel.

Based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo, from DC Entertainment, Lucifer is developed and executive produced by Tom Kapinos. Executive producers are Jerry Bruckheimer, KristieAnne Reed, Jonathan Littman, Ildy Modrovich, and Joe Henderson. It is a production by Warner Bros. Television, Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Aggressive Mediocrity.
