HBO Max has released the official Santa Inc. trailer for the upcoming adult animated comedy series, featuring the voices of Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogen. The 8-episode series will be available for streaming on December 2.
The red band trailer features a female elf as she tries to prove to everyone that she’s worthy to become the first woman Santa Claus in the history of Christmas. It highlights the obstacles and issues she’ll have to face in order to fit in with the North Pole’s boys club and their patriarchal rules.

Santa Inc. is a half-hour series created and written by Alexandra Rushfield, who is also serving as the showrunner. The voice cast will be led by Sarah Silverman (Wreck-It Ralph) as Candy Smalls, and Seth Rogen (Monsters vs. Aliens) as Santa. Joining them are Leslie Grossman, Gabourey Sidibe, Craig Robinson, Nicholas Braun, Maria Bamford, and Joel Kim Booster.
“The series tells the story of Candy Smalls, the highest-ranking female elf in the North Pole,” reads the synopsis. “When the successor to Santa Claus is poached by Amazon on Christmas Eve, Candy goes for her ultimate dream – to become the first woman Santa Claus in the history of Christmas.”

Santa Inc. is a production by Lionsgate Television and Point Grey Pictures. Silverman, Rogen, Rushfield, Amy Zvi, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Joshua Fagen are executive producing along with Rosa Tran, Seth Green, John Harvatine IV, Matthew Senreich, Eric Towner, and Chris Waters.
