Ahead of its long-awaited debut tomorrow, HBO Max has revealed a brand new clip for James Gunn’s forthcoming DC series Peacemaker, featuring John Cena’s titular anti-hero as he reflects on his recent actions. The Suicide Squad spin-off will be releasing its first three episodes this Thursday, January 13.
The Peacemaker clip, which you can check out below, shows Peacemaker in a vulnerable state as he cries because people hate him for being a douchebag. He also reveals how he regrets killing Rick Flag while recalling the late hero’s last words to him.
