Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks Trailer Sets Release Date for Upcoming Crime Docuseries

Hulu has released the trailer for the upcoming 10-part documentary series Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks. The forensic crime series will hit the streaming platform on August 17, 2023.

Serving as a spin-off to A&E Network’s non-fiction docuseries of the same name, Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks will examine cold murder cases that were solved with the help of DNA advancements. Narrated by journalist Bill Kurtis, who also served as the host for the Emmy-nominated 1999 series, the upcoming spin-off will feature different cases in each episode that remained unsolved for decades.

“Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks is a new, 10-part documentary series focusing on murder cases that remained unsolved for decades and were ultimately cracked with DNA evidence. It explores these stunning scientific developments — as well as the unwavering dedication of families and investigators — that eventually brought the killers to justice,” the synopsis reads. “The series examines each piece of forensic evidence, each witness, each possible lead, and each turn in the road that ultimately leads detectives to their killer.”
