Why Adam Cole Sees Big Things Ahead for Daniel Garcia in AEW

AEW star Adam Cole believes Daniel Garcia has a bright future ahead as the newly crowned TNT Champion. Garcia has quickly become one of the most promising talents in All Elite Wrestling.

Garcia signed with AEW in 2021 and, in a March 2022 episode of Dynamite, he teamed up with 2point O to join Chris Jericho and Jake Hager in forming the Jericho Appreciation Society. He quickly became a main figure in the heated rivalry between the Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club.

Later that year, Garcia captured the ROH Pure Championship. Today, he has emerged as one of AEW’s top rising stars. This year, he has delivered standout performances alongside top talents like Adam Copeland, Will Ospreay, MJF, and others.

At AEW Full Gear 2024, held on Saturday, November 23rd, Garcia claimed the TNT title by defeating Jack Perry. Since then, he has earned widespread praise, including from Adam Cole, a former WWE star now in AEW.

Adam Cole believes Daniel Garcia is key to AEW’s future

AEW star Adam Cole recently appeared on Q101, where he praised Daniel Garcia, highlighting his exceptional talent both in the ring and on the microphone. He also shared his enthusiasm for Garcia’s potential, mentioning that Garcia stands out when thinking about the future of AEW.

He stated, “Daniel Garcia is a big one for me. I think he is just unbelievably talented, so so good. Whether it’s in the ring, on the microphone, he has a hunger to want to be better and want to be as good as humanly possible. He really is, it’s amazing to watch his development. Danny Garcia definitely gets me really excited thinking about the future of AEW, he’s one that comes to mind.”

After his success at Full Gear, Daniel Garcia was announced in the Continental Classic, where he will face Kazuchika Okada in his first match of the tournament. With Adam Cole holding high expectations for Garcia, fans are eager to see when these two stars will meet in a singles match once again. The last time they faced off was on an episode of AEW Dynamite last year, where Cole defeated Garcia following Cole’s return from injury.
