Bayley, the former WWE Women’s Champion, made a major announcement on the latest episode of RAW on Netflix. She recently earned a shot at Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship.
On the January 10 edition of WWE SmackDown, Bayley defeated Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Nia Jax to secure her title opportunity. Stratton, who captured her first WWE Women’s Title on the main roster by cashing in on Nia Jax a few weeks ago, defended her championship successfully against Bayley last Friday on SmackDown.
After the loss, Bayley surprised fans by appearing on RAW at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. She announced her move to RAW, a decision that was already confirmed by General Manager Adam Pearce, who shared the news on X (formerly Twitter).
Bayley’s arrival on WWE RAW on Netflix created excitement, but she didn’t stop there. She also revealed another major announcement during the show.
Bayley confirms her entry into 2025 Women’s WWE Royal Rumble
On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Rhea Ripley was attacked by Nia Jax as she arrived at the arena. Jax slammed Ripley into a fence before the show even began. Later in the night, during a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley, Bayley made a surprise appearance. It was confirmed that she would face Nia Jax in a match.
However, she shared some big news with fans. Bayley announced that she’s officially back on RAW and declared her entry into the 2025 Royal Rumble match. She reminded everyone that she won last year and plans to win again. She also mentioned she could face either Tiffany Stratton or Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41.
Nia Jax interrupted the interview, claiming she’ll take care of Stratton and win the Royal Rumble herself. Bayley fired back, daring Jax to try doing to her what she did to Rhea Ripley. Although Bayley was unsuccessful in defeating Jax in their match, it will be interesting to see if she can make history by winning the Royal Rumble match two years in a row.
