Coming off from the critical success of Regina King’s One Night In Miami, it looks like British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir has finally found his next big project with Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion. According to Deadline, Ben-Adir has signed on for one of the leading roles opposite MCU alums Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn. Further details about his character are still being kept under wraps but the outlet notes that he might be playing the lead villain for Secret Invasion.
Ben-Adir’s notable TV credits include Vera, Peaky Blinders, The OA, High Fidelity, and The Comey Rule. He recently earned his first BAFTA nomination for his performance as Malcolm X in One Night in Miami.

While initially appearing as villains in the Brie Larson-led Captain Marvel, the Skrulls were given a much more sympathetic portrayal in the film as they were actually racing across the galaxy to find a new home to escape from the Kree. Following their successful partnership and banning of the Kree from Earth and its nearby space, the Skrulls headed off to look for a new home planet, only for it to later be revealed in Spider-Man: Far From Home that Talos and his wife Soren had switched places with Fury and Maria Hill, with the former currently working with the Skrulls on their ship.
