Vigilante will air a new episode on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, on Disney Plus. The series follows the story of Kim Ji-Yong (Nam Joo-Hyuk). He is a sincere and hardworking police university story by day and a vengeful vigilante by night. In his latter role, he takes law into his own hands and delivers his version of justice to criminals.
Episode 5 of Vigilante promises intense action scenes and dramatic content, if the trailer is anything to go by. With the new vigilante’s arrival in the previous episode, it is time Ji-Yong asks for his help so that he can safeguard himself. But with Jo-Heon (Yoo Ji-Tae) laying his suspicions on Ji-Yong, he will leave no stone unturned to keep tracking the original vigilante.
Nam Joo-Hyuk joins forces with Lee Joon-Hyuk in Vigilante episode 5
The previous episode saw Chang Kang-Ok’s (Lee Joon-Hyuk) arrival as the new vigilante. He claimed to have been inspired by Ji-Yong to deliver justice to criminals. Initially, the latter didn’t approve of the collaboration, but he later agreed, fearing his cover would be blown. Moreover, after Ji-Yong realized Jo-Heon might know who he was, the vigilante may not mind Kang-Ok’s help.
In the upcoming episode, as per the trailer, Kang-Ok will suggest the two join forces. As they work together, outside forces desperately want to catch the vigilante. Meanwhile, reporter Choi Mi-Ryeo (Kim So-Jin) decides to build a stage for the vigilante to appear. Jo-Heon continues his investigation, promising that the vigilante will be caught soon.
Both Ji-Yong and Kang-Ok embark on the justice mission together. As new cases start to emerge, more details about their potential identities come out. However, it won’t be easy, considering how careful Ji-Yong is with every mission. The two people looking for vigilante, reporter Choi and Jo-Heon, come face to face after neither of them are able to locate Ji-Yong.
By the end of the trailer, it looks like Jo-Heon manages to identify Ji-Yong in his black coat, while Kang-Ok witnesses the interaction from a distance. The trailer ends with Ji-Yong and Jo-Heon in a physical altercation.
