The Atypical Family Episodes 11 & 12 (Finale) Release Date, Time & Trailer Revealed on JTBC & Netflix

The Atypical Family episodes 11 and 12 are set to air in June 2024 on JTBC and Netflix. Starring Jang Ki-Yong and Chun Woo-Hee, the K-drama is nearing its end. The storyline revolves around a mysterious woman getting entangled with a strange family possessing magical powers. She enters their lives to scam them for money, but things change when feelings get involved.

In the previous episode, Gwi-Joo (Jang Ki-Yong) was devastated after Da-Hae’s (Chun Woo-Hee) accident. But his daughter, Yi-Na (Park So-Yi), helped him find out that Da-Hae faked her death. The episode ended with an emotional reunion between the lovebirds.

In the upcoming episode, Da-Hae must find a way to save Gwi-Joo. For context, she faked her death so that his mother’s dream where he dies doesn’t come true. Now, Da-Hae must find another solution to protect him. Episode 11’s trailer hints at Da-Hae assuring Gwi-Joo’s mother.

The Atypical Family episode 11 will air on Saturday, June 8, 2024, and episode 12 (finale) on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC. The new episodes will also be available to stream on Netflix.

The latest episode 11 trailer features Gwi-Joo accepting the fact that he can die soon. He creates a lot of happy moments with Da-Hae, Yi-Na, and the rest of his family. Gwi-Joo also warns Da-Hae’s fake mother not to trouble his fiancé anymore. 

Meanwhile, Da-Hae assures Gwi-Joo’s mother that she will save him. But his mother, Man-Heum, comments, “There’s no way to change the future.” Towards the trailer’s end, Gwi-Joo says, “This may look like the end, but there’s always a tomorrow. My happy moments will bring everyone happiness.”

The Atypical Family premiered on May 4, 2024, on JTBC and Netflix. Consisting of 12 episodes, the fantasy romance K-drama will end on June 9, 2024.
