What Does a WWE Star Think About MJF Potentially Joining Their Roster?

Former AEW World Champion MJF is in the spotlight, with speculation swirling about whether he will ever join WWE in his wrestling career. He has made a huge name for himself over the past five years in All Elite Wrestling.

Fans and wrestling veterans have praised MJF for his talent. As one of the top stars in AEW, he holds the record for the longest world championship reign in the promotion, having held the title for 406 days. Throughout his reign, MJF demonstrated a range of skills beyond his renowned mic abilities. He had a standout match against Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution, which earned a 5.75-star rating.

Last summer, he and Adam Cole were involved in one of the promotion’s best storylines, culminating in both headlining AEW All In at the Wembley Stadium. Recently, he won the AEW International Championship by defeating Will Ospreay in a 60-minute AEW Dynamite match.

MJF continues to make headlines with his wrestling skills, but fans frequently wonder if he will ever join WWE. Recently, NXT star Lexis King, who previously competed in AEW under the name Brian Pillman Jr shared his thoughts on the possibility of MJF joining WWE’s roster.

Lexis King claims MJF can take anyone’s place in WWE

Lexis King, who joined WWE last September, has made a significant impact in the promotion, surpassing his previous AEW run. Recently, he appeared on Busted Open Radio, where he discussed the current cross-promotion efforts in WWE. He shared his insights on what might happen if MJF joined their roster.

He stated, “I think it’s cool and all. I don’t care what acronym. TNA, ECW, AEW, I don’t care where you come from. I came from a different acronym at one time and don’t look at any one roster as a set bubble. I think if you look at pro wrestling, you gotta look at the whole landscape. You gotta look at the entire roster. You got guys like MJF over there in AEW. He could come over here at any time and steal anybody’s spot if he wanted to.”

He continued, “So I don’t look at different factions as this, that, or the other. I think of everybody as an opponent. Everybody is an enemy of mine, and if you’re coming over to my show and taking spots, you’re on my radar because I’m the King of NXT, and this is my domain. You’re gonna come in here and you’re gonna parade around that TNA flag, well, you better be getting ready to get in the ring and throw some hands because I’m fighting for my spot too. I don’t care what acronym that is. We’re all wrestlers, we’re all in this business together, and I think we should all be fighting for these spots equally as hard, and we should all be putting on our best performances.”

Meanwhile MJF is committed to staying with AEW for the upcoming years. It will be interesting to see if the former AEW World Champion makes a move to WWE. Stay tuned for more updates.
