The third season of the World Trigger anime got a brand new trailer this week when Toei Animation unveiled the latest look during New York Comic Con 2021.

The third season of the popular anime is streaming now and will air every Saturday at 1:30 a.m. in Japan on TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation programming block. Crunchyroll will stream the new season as new episodes air, with the premiere of the third season on the service now.
During a panel hosted during the convention,it was also revealed by Toei that the English dub for the anime’s second season is in production and that the company expects the project to be finished by the end of the year. It was also confirmed that Ian Sinclair would be joining the English dub cast as Gatlin.

“One day, a gate to another world opens in Mikado City releasing large, terrifying creatures, called ‘Neighbors’. Earth’s defenses are useless to stop these creatures,” reads the synopsis for the anime. “However, a mysterious group of people appear and fight off the Neighbors. They create a defense agency called “Border” that protects the citizens from Neighbors still emerging from opening gates. Years later, Neighbors are still coming to Earth, but thanks to the protection of Border, the people of Mikado City have resumed their normal lives. Four years after the original attack on Earth, a humanoid Neighbor named Yuma Kuga arrives in Mikado City. There he meets Osamu Mikumo, a Border Agent.”
