Made in Abyss Season 2 Episode 1’s release date is Wednesday, July 6. In Japan, the episode will air at 10:30 p.m. JST.
The episode with English subtitles will be available an hour after it airs in Japan. Here is the schedule in U.S. time:

Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul Recap
Riko, Reg, and Nanachi embark on their journey. After arriving at the Garden of the Flowers of Resilience, they come across one of Bondrewd’s Umbra Hands. The Umbra Hand tells them that Bondrewd is waiting for them. Eventually, the trio reaches Ido Front, and they meet Bondrewd’s daughter, Prushka. Bondrewd shows up and tells the group that they can only enter the sixth layer with a personalized White Whistle. After inviting them to stay for the night, Riko and Prushka become good friends. Meanwhile, Bondrewd’s Umbra Hands examine Reg, and Nanachi finds Reg with his right arm cut off.
Riko, Nanachi, Prushka, and her pet, Meinya, rescue Reg from the Umbra Hands. Riko, Reg, and Nanachi manage to escape thanks to Prushka. They decide to set a trap for Bondrewd and his Umbra Hands. Bondrewd and his Umbra Hands get attacked by Stingerheads, but Bondrewd survives. However, Reg and Nanachi come up with a plan resulting in Bondrewd’s body getting destroyed. Shortly after, Prushka and an Umbra Hand show up, and that Umbra Hand becomes Bondrewd.
The trio learns that Bondrewd’s Umbra Hands are copies of himself, allowing him to transfer his consciousness through these. After dreaming about Prushka, Riko points out that Bondrewd might be using a relic that enables him to move his consciousness to the Umbra Hands. The trio returns to Ido Front with a plan to destroy the relic. Nanachi informs Riko that Bondrewd’s cartridges are made from humans. Suddenly, an out of control Reg attacks Bondrewd, and they get into a fight. Nanachi brings Reg back to normal, although Bondrewd tells them he transformed Prushka into a cartridge. Eventually, Bondrewd is defeated. Riko mourns for Prushka, but it turns out Prushka became a Life Reverberating Stone. Riko now has a new White Whistle, and the group prepares for their journey to the sixth layer.
