Himeno uses the last of her power to pull Denji’s cord. Denji and Katana Man start fighting, while two other guys try to shoot Denji. Denji uses one of the guys as a hostage, but Katana Man slices them both in half. Elsewhere, people with guns target Special Divisions 1 through 4. However, Makima survived the attack. By using criminals, she uses her devil contracts to get rid of the people targeting Denji. While Katana Man, Akane, and the others are trying to put Denji in the car, their allies explode into pieces. Akane realizes Makima is probably the one behind their allies’ deaths.
Suddenly, Kobeni appears in front of them. Akane calls for the Snake Devil, but Kobeni fends off their attacks, forcing them to retreat. She then apologizes to Denji for trying to kill him. She also cries over Aran, who protected her, and freaks out about how being a devil hunter is making her crazy. Madoka tells Makima about what happened in Tokyo. He also informs her that Divisions 1 to 3 will be joining Division 4.
