On March 4, 2024, the official website and Twitter for Kо̄ Nogatsu and Sabamizore’s Seiyū Radio no Ura Omote revealed that the anime adaptation of the light novel will be released on April 10, 2024. The site also announced additional staff members, along with a new visual teaser.
Seiyū Radio no Ura Omote Anime: Everything you need to know
Kо̄ Nogatsu and Sabamizore’s Seiyū Radio no Ura Omote anime will be part of the Spring 2024 lineup. The anime will be released on Tokyo MX and AT-X on April 10 and BS NTV on April 13. Reportedly, Miku Itō will perform the opening theme song, “Now On Air.”
The cast members include Miku Itō, who will voice Yasumi Utatane/Yumiko Satō. Itō is known for her stellar performance as Miku Nakano in Quintessential Quintuplets. Meanwhile, Moe Toyota will voice Yūhi Yūgure/Chika Watanabe. Earlier, the two voice actors shot a promotional video for the light novel in 2020. Joining them will be Ikumi Hasegawa and Nao Tōyama, who will be voicing Otome Sakuranamiki and Yubisaki Mekuru, respectively.
As for the staff members, Hideki Tachibana, known for his work on DanMachi, is directing the anime at CONNECT. Shoko Takimoto is in charge of character design, while Chaos Dragon serves as chief animation director.

NovelCool releases the novel and describes the series as: “Yuuhi Yuugure and Yasumi Utatane, two high school voice actresses who just happened to attend the same school and coincidentally got placed into the same class, are the two hosts of a weekly radio program. As fellow classmates and voice actresses, they show all the listeners their great friendship!”
The synopsis continues, “At least on the surface. In reality, the quiet girl Chika and the Gyaru Yumiko are complete opposites. And they absolutely cannot stand each other. Off air, chaos and insults erupt. On air, they’re the best of friends. Just where will this tumultuous relationship lead them?”
