My Hero Academia has been in the spotlight recently, as mangaka Kohei Horikoshi has confirmed that the popular series will end in five chapters on August 5. The spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 426, titled “The Hellish Todoroki Family- Final,” just got released, and it is safe to say that fans are in for a treat.
The chapter begins with the whole Todoroki family reunited. Rei and Fuyumi are still recovering from the burns on their faces, while Natsu is seen with a new haircut. Fuyumi tells Shoto he doesn’t have to come, but Rei tells them that none of the kids should be there. However, Enji, aka Endeavour, expresses his concern for everyone, wishing none of them were there to witness Toya’s final moments.
Enji tells his family he has wanted to talk to Toya since before the war, but now that the state his son is in, he can’t even do that on his own. He tells his family that the hero, Endeavour, had burned to death. However, Toya expresses his condolences sarcastically, calling him a coward for having time for him just now. Enji agrees with his statement, but he tells Toya he will come every day to talk with him, and they can spend the entire time cursing him if he likes.
Although Toya didn’t respond, his heartbeat monitor’s sound was loud enough to fill the room. Fuyumi and Rei interjected, expressing their desire to talk to him on the top. However, the employee stops them, telling them it is enough for today. While the family leaves, Shoto asks Toya for his favorite food. Initially stunned by the question, he replies, “Soba,” and Shoto says, “Same,” which sends Toya into tears.
After leaving, Natsu tells them he won’t have contact with Enji anymore. He tells everyone his plans to marry his girlfriend without meeting his father, and Enji agrees and apologizes to his son. Fuyumi shares she got a new job after quitting her old one, thanks to one of her parent’s interventions. Enji tells his children they don’t need to contact him, but he will do everything to ensure the Dabi (Toya) scandal doesn’t hurt them.

Hawks sends a message to Endeavour inquiring about his visit with Toya. Meanwhile, he talks to Lady Nagant, who says she wants to stay in jail as she fears being used again temporarily. She jokes with Hawks that she will eat food funded by people’s taxes. Suddenly, Hawks sticks his tongue out and calls her a villain.
Meanwhile, Gentle and La Brava are released as their help has been officially recognized. The chapter focuses back on Hawks, revealing that he is now the new chairman of the Public Safety Commission. The Pro-Hero then wonders how things will change from now on and calls Mera on the phone. The chapter ends by showing Spinner unconscious in a hospital bed.
