Tower of God season 2 episode 1 recap
The episode picks up where the previous season left off, with Rachel pushing Bam out of the ship. The latter then meets Hwaryun, who tells him the answers he has been looking for are on top of the tower. Meanwhile, Juri visita one of her sisters and requests that she look for Bam.
Elsewhere on the 20th floor, the episode introduces Jan Wangnan, a regular getting ready to take the exam. However, he loses dramatically and returns to his room. He is immediately greeted by the loan sharks, who are frustrated that he has tried running away. They make him sign a contract stating they would take his organs should he fail to pay.
The next day, he takes the exam again with complete confidence. However, upon arrival, he sees Bam taking out the rest of the competitors. Wangnan notices how strong he is and asks for a truce. Bam sits down, and the room is filled with other people. One of them suggests getting rid of the weak players.
However, Bam tells him they will all be dropping out and attacks him. He easily defeats him, but as he goes for Wangnan, the timer for the exam runs out. One of the women notices the crest on his clothes is for Fug, a criminal organization that opposes Jahard. The episode ends with Bam going up to the elevator alone.
